So I'm into making a cover of Manuel GOTTSCHING's E2E4 masterpiece.
Few years ago, I wouldn't dare making such a thing because I thought I could not make something with a value.
I see things different now : the base of the song is simple, two chords. MG himself starts simply, just to relax and try. I can try it too; and after all, it's just 2 chords, a base, I can have fun with it too.
It's fun, when I first hear the E2E4 track, I believed its name was the spelling of the notes E2 E4, of course it's absurd, E played octave 2 then 4 is not the base of the song. I thought it less charming with the chessboard on the cover and knowing it's a classic chess opening.
