King's discipline

Now resuming work/play with King Crimson 1981 LP "Discipline" and starting trance-remixing "Frame by Frame".
I already have this feeling when remixing Pink Floyd, but it is here even more "true" with King Crimson (because they are more virtuosos than Pink Floyd, that's all ;-) : the songs are very very well done, the recording, the playing of instruments (I know, this is Robert FRIPP, Adrian BELEW, Bill BRUFORD, Tony LEVIN, some highly skilled musicians), this is so well done. The only complain is that all these details are a bit "compacted" in small songs.

And though Elephant Talk has great harmonic qualities, the theme of the song is somewhat not my cup of tea; actually I never liked when so called prog-bands make fun songs. It is like when Van Der Graaf Generator plays Tarzan... Hu !?
Anyway, there are enough things to tranceremix, and Sheltering sky also appears to be very fruitful with the synth/guitar solo of Mr FRIPP that enters strange harmonic/tonal territories.
