Now working on the part 2 of Shine On You Crazy Diamond, that is the part that is on the second side of the vinyl LP (yes, I have it, I even had the black plastic packaging ... but I threw it to the dustbin many years ago).
I always loved the electronic wind at the beginning of this song, probably made with a synthesizer and its noise generator with filter, it does not ressemble a natural wind. I don't know if Pink Floyd wanted a natural wind sound, either.
And the bass that comes then in the song, with just 2 (same) notes; I always liked the sound of Roger WATERS Precision Bass, and its simple playing.
